Vicente and Julie Flores
Hello! We appreciate you taking time to meet us. Saying we are excited for this new venture
and chapter in our life is stating it mildly. This is what you could say is a full-circle moment.
We grew up in Pharr, Texas and soon after graduation from PSJA, we married and moved to North
Dallas and also lived in the surrounding suburbs while working in Corporate America. After living on
a 400-acre ranch in Celina, Texas for a while, we bought our first home in Carrollton, TX where we lived
with three Cocker Spaniels for almost 5 years. With Vicente's dad in bad health, we moved to San Antonio
and bought our second home there to be closer to the Valley and make more frequent trips to visit. Sadly, he passed and after living in San Antonio for eight years, we took the first opportunity to move back to the Dallas area with McKinney being the place we landed and built our new home where we lived for 14 years. At this time we were back to three Cocker Spaniels, which sadly all passed away throughout the time we lived there. We could not be without pups for too long, so after several months of our last Cocker Spaniel passing, we adopted Dolly, our Yorkie. We added a Havapoo and not long after a Mini Goldendoodle. Living in a big city and all that comes with it proved to be exhausting and had gotten old for me. After almost two years of trying to sell Vicente on moving to the Valley so we could fulfill our dream to own our own business, be close to family and having a nice home in the amazing community of Tres Lagos, he finally agreed. Whew! I have to say, Tres Lagos and being close to family and old friends, makes it feel great to be home.
We no longer have Cocker Spaniels, but we are still pet parents as we have been our whole married life. Now we have a yappy Yorkie, Havanese and Mini Goldendoodle babies which are represented in our logo and in our website.
This has been a lifelong dream come true to be able to open our own business and work hard for ourselves and help our community. In this case, we are not really working but enjoying life helping other pet parents and loving their beloved fur babies. I Pawsitively cannot think of anything better.
Vicente and I have been have been in management positions throughout our working career working countless hours for someone else's company. Now we will do the same, but this time for our own small business, except this does not feel like work.
We take a lot of pride in what we have built and the decades long experiences we bring which we would love to share with you. We hope Pawsitively Clean will be a place you want to come to bathe or groom your fur baby, visit with us, ask for advice, shop and help support other small business.
